Every year for ten years, right before spring break, PCA&D students shut themselves in to give back to the community. At the annual Designathon, PCA&D’s Graphic Design Department and the student chapter of AIGA (The American Institute of Graphic Arts) coordinate the event, a 24-hour marathon to design quality graphic materials for local non-profit organizations.Read More
The exhibition at the Main Gallery at PCA&D this summer features a selection of outstanding artwork created by our rising junior and senior BFA students. A wide variety of media are represented including digital and hand-painted works, illustration, sculpture, painting, printmaking, photography and graphic design. The exhibit opens Monday June 11 and runs through July 27.

Whereas Under Mary Colleen Heil’s direction, PCA&D purchased and developed its campus at 202 and 204 N Prince Street, along with the Art Garden, which serve as the entrance to and the impetus for the creation of Lancaster City’s Gallery Row, the City of Lancaster commends Mary Collen Heil for her positive influence and contributions to the City of Lancaster and proclaim June 1, 2018 as Mary Colleen Heil Day in the City of Lancaster.
