The exhibition at the Main Gallery at PCA&D this summer features a selection of outstanding artwork created by our rising junior and senior BFA students. A wide variety of media are represented including digital and hand-painted works, illustration, sculpture, painting, printmaking, photography and graphic design. The exhibit opens Monday June 11 and runs through July 27.

Opening Reception: First Friday, July 6, 5 -8 p.m.

Pictures, top to bottom, the works of Maikue Lor, Karim Gavins, Melanie Vera, Naomi Hudnall, and Rainey Supple.

Mary Colleen Heil Day proclaimed in the City of Lancaster

Whereas Under Mary Colleen Heil’s direction, PCA&D purchased and developed its campus at 202 and 204 N Prince Street, along with the Art Garden, which serve as the entrance to and the impetus for the creation of Lancaster City’s Gallery Row, the City of Lancaster commends Mary Collen Heil for her positive influence and contributions to the City of Lancaster and proclaim June 1, 2018 as Mary Colleen Heil Day in the City of Lancaster.

At the first ever PCA&D Art Market during the April 6th First Friday, PCA&D’s illustration, fine art, design, and photography majors have gathered some of their favorite work to sell.

Last semester The Art for Social Good class had an amazing opportunity to work with Pavone, a Harrisburg based advertising and marketing agency and The Pennsylvania Medical Society. The students were tasked to come up with artwork that may be used for promoting PAMED in newspaper/magazine ads, billboards, etc. that fit the following categories: Time, Money, or Autonomy.
